Looking to see a movie? What better way than to see it under the stars and benefit a good cause while doing so?
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and friends to the premiere of the “Movies Under the Stars” series at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 at the Sunken Garden’s Theater.
Doors open at 7 p.m. to see the double-feature of “The Big Lebowski” and “Raising Arizona”.
The suggested donation is $5, and food and beer trucks are also available.
The event benefits TEAMability, which aids those from infancy to 22-years-old living with multiple, severe disabilities.
Slab Cinema and the San Antonio Current are sponsoring the event.
“We are happy to support TEAMability by helping them with their Movies with the Stars summer series,” said Angela Martinez, owner of Slab Cinema. “We encourage all our friends and supporters to enjoy movie nights with this wonderful organization that works tirelessly on behalf of children with multiple disabilities.”
