San Antonio Fire Department Adds K-9 to Brigade
0 01 de septiembre de 2010La Prensa de San Antonio.- Kai, the newest member of the San Antonio Fire Department, has a nose for flammables and a set of skills to sniff out the causes of fires. The new investigator, a black Lab mix shelter dog specially selected to be an accelerant detection K-9, and her partner, Arson Investigator Justin Davis, recently completed a five-week canine-accelerant detection school sponsored by State Farm Insurance and certified by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

Edgewood school district celebrates centennial

Even earlier, in 1906, Emma Frey, his daughter, started to teach family and friends in a one-room schoolhouse on her father’s property.

NEISD celebrates firsts by maintaining student focus

Under the auspices of Dr. Richard Middleton, NEISD serves more than 66,000 students across 63 campuses, offers at least 12 magnet programs (with more on the way) and eight alternative schools, and employs almost 9,000 people. The district even has its own police department.
