La Prensa de San Antonio.- Kai, the newest member of the San Antonio Fire Department, has a nose for flammables and a set of skills to sniff out the causes of fires. The new investigator, a black Lab mix shelter dog specially selected to be an accelerant detection K-9, and her partner, Arson Investigator Justin Davis, recently completed a five-week canine-accelerant detection school sponsored by State Farm Insurance and certified by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.
