2 28 de marzo de 2009La Prensa Foundation History .- Whenever Amelia “Millie” Duran saw people reading English newspapers, she wondered what it would be like if San Antonio’s Hispanic community had its own publication to meet their needs. In 1989 with the help of her husband, Tino Duran, La Prensa de San Antonio, was on the newsstands.

0 28 de marzo de 2009Who We Are .- La Prensa Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization that provides scholarships to local college students and higher education institutions. La Prensa Foundation favors youth and young adults who are confronted with financial hardships or extenuating circumstances, with the desire and motivation to pursue their dreams of a higher education. La Prensa Foundation is a component of La Prensa de San Antonio, the only bilingual and family owned newspaper in the city.
