And these snacks were not the run-of-the-mill fare you might pick up at the vending machine ... The TODAY Munchie Mobiles served free southwestern-inspired fare prepared by award-winning Austin-based chef Eric Silverstein. The winning recipe of the TODAY Home Chef Challenge: Southwestern Edition yields a special treat created by Austin natives Julie Munroe and Ryan Schierling and will also be featured on the food trucks.
