Rio de Janeiro, Feb 2 (EFE).- South Korean rapper Psy, whose hit single "Gangnam Style" holds the record for the most-watched video on YouTube, will be one of the attractions at this year's carnival in the northeastern Brazilian city of Salvador.
Brazilian axe singer Claudia Leitte confirmed on her Web site that Psy will be in her "electric trio" during the Bahian Carnival, Brazil's second most popular.
Electric trios are floats equipped with stages for music groups and high power sound systems that parade along Salvador's streets during carnival and other Brazilian festivals.
The singer said Psy will have the chance to sing "Gangnam Style" on Feb. 8 while perched on top of her electric trio and get the public dancing with his catchy style.
The message said Psy's visit will be sponsored by U.S. shaving and personal care product group Gillette, which also will invite the entertainer to join one of the samba school parades during this year's Rio Carnival.
