San Antonio.- This is a shout out to all you people out there who love to buy Halloween costumes for your pets.
Mark the date on your calendar, because this is an event you wouldn’t want to miss! Monday October 29, is the San Antonio Humane Society’s annual Paws on the Patio event. It’s happening at the Canyon Café in the Alamo Quarry Market. Come celebrate an early “Howl-o-Ween” with your beloved canine pal. It takes place from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. This year’s celebration will feature a doggie costume contest and meals for both you and your furry friend.
The entry fee for the costume contest is $5 per photo. Doggie dinners are $10 and features three courses. For all humans, you will have a choice of four classic Canyon Café meals to select from. Each human meal is $13.
This is a win/win positive event. Not only will you bond with your canine friend, but help other animals in need. Every dollar earned from the photo contest and doggie dinner proceeds will go towards care and shelter of local San Antonio Humane Society animals.
