San Antonio.- The City’s Solid Waste Management Department wants to remind San Antonio residents that the Independence Day holiday will not affect recycling and garbage collection on July 4. Recycling and waste collection for residents who have Wednesday collection service will be business as usual. Residents should set their carts out no later than 7 a.m. to ensure that they do not miss their collection. The Bitters Brush Recycling Center, the Nelson Gardens Brush Recycling Center, and the Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be closed on July 4.
