San Antonio.- In a press release received hours ago, Bexar county spokesperson Laura Jessie said thanks to the rainfall, the County’s burn ban restrictions will be eased for today only.
Controlled burning usually refers to outdoor burning of debris.
Controlled burning will be allowed today until 5 p.m. in unincorporated Bexar County. Call 210-335-0300 to get an authorization number from the Fire Marshall’s office.
Prior authorization is required.
This does not mean the burn ban has been lifted. Controlled burning is permitted today only thanks to the heavy rainfall. Any burning conducted without an authorization number is a violation of the ban.
