San Antonio.- Gunn Automotive Group, the pioneers of the “One Simple Price” selling philosophy in Texas, promoted two team members in Gunn Automotive’s Variable Operations. Phil Kandera was promoted to general manager of the Buick–GMC store and Vince Brown was promoted to general sales manager of the Nissan store.
Kandera has been with Gunn for more than seven years and most recently was general sales manager at the Nissan store. While there, the Nissan store was No. 1 for three of the last four years. In Kandera’s new role, he will manage the new Buick-GMC store being built on IH 35 North in Selma.
“It feels amazing to be involved with such good people doing business the way they do,” Kandera said. “I believe Gunn truly sets the example of how dealers should operate. From sales, to service, to parts and body shops, people always have good things to say about the partners and staff at our stores.”
Brown was responsible for managing the sales department before his promotion to general sales manager. Brown has been with Gunn for more than 12 years.
“Working for Gunn is a great honor,” Brown said. “Not only is it regarded as one of the best auto groups in the nation to work for, but it is regarded as one of the best organizations.”
Gunn Automotive President Hunter Hale said he is excited about the opportunities for these two Gunn veterans and what they will do in their new roles.
“Phil and Vince have helped the Gunn brand grow in San Antonio for almost two decades combined,” Hale said. “There aren’t more hard working people in the industry. It is a true blessing to have these two gentlemen as part of the Gunn family.”
The year is off to a great start with Brown and Kandera at the helm. Both are looking forward to enhancing the great work Gunn already does and helping to grow the business - One Simple Price at a time.
