  "Sound City," quite possibly one of the best music documentaries ever

  Austin, TX.- Documentaries are at the top of my list when it comes to favorite film genres, so I’m partial to films like Dave Grohl’s (Foo Fighters) “Sound City.” My bias aside this film is awesome. Any music lover, historian, fan of Dave Grohl, your mom, your dad will all love this film. It journeys into a small part of music history that spans from the early 70’s rock invasion to the 90’s grunge era.

  "Evil Dead," a standout at SXSW

  Austin, TX.- Another standout from SXSW, “Evil Dead” is a remake of a 1981 cult film by the same name – with a slight twist and about the same amount of blood and gore. Even if you like horror just a little bit, or if you are just on the fence – consider this movie a must-see.

  Austin, TX.- Harmony Korine (KIDS) is top three on my list of favorite writer/directors. His style is like no other and his latest film “Spring Breakers” is brought alive on the big screen in the most unpredictable of ways.
